A “manna existence”

“When thou passest through the waters…they shall not overflow thee” (Isa. 43:2)

The Edge of Our Need

I have said numerous times to friends that God has chosen a “manna existence” for us…just enough for the day; never too much so that we become lethargic and forgetful. The most blessed thing about it is that we know that what we have is from His great and generous hand. He knows what we need. Sometimes He gives us our wants as well. In all, we see His goodness–He is never reluctant to bless; but at times we need enablement to see where the blessings lie.
