He made known to me the mystery (Ephesians 3:3)

Once again it is time for us to gather for Bible study. 4 weeks ago we did a “flyover” of Ephesians 3. This week, we will delve into Ephesians 3 from a different angle and with greater depth.

  1. The prisoner of the mystery (Ephesians 3:1-4) (“the prisoner of Christ Jesus”)
  2. The plan of the mystery (3:5-6) (“in other ages was not made known … has now been revealed by the Spirit”)
  3. The preaching of the mystery (3:7-9) (“that I should preach … the unsearchable riches of Christ,”)
  4. The purpose of the mystery (3:10-11) (“to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known”)
  5. The privilege of the mystery (3:12-13) (“we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him”)

Please read Ephesians chapter 3 again before Wednesday. You may wish to review our previous study (link). Hope to see you then!
